Community Guidelines
Welcome to Soothie Circle. This is a space for parents raising little ones with eczema. Real questions, real experiences, and real support from people who actually get it. A few ground rules to keep it that way:
Be kind, always. Every parent here is doing their best with the information they have. No judgment for what you've tried, what hasn't worked, or how long it took you to find this place.
Share, but don't diagnose. You can absolutely share what's worked for your family. A routine, a product, a hard-won lesson. Just don't tell another parent what's wrong with their child's skin or what they should do instead of seeing a clinician. We're here to compare notes, not replace doctors.
No selling, no spam. This isn't the place to promote your own business, MLM, or product line. If you want to share something that genuinely helped, frame it as your own experience, not a pitch.
Keep it respectful, even in disagreement. Parents will have different approaches and different opinions. Disagree with the method, not the person.
This is peer support, not medical care. Soothie Circle is parent education and community, not a substitute for your child's pediatrician or dermatologist. If something looks like an infection, is weeping, oozing, crusting, or has yellow discoloration, that goes straight to your child's clinician, not the feed.
A little note about privacy. Soothie Circle is a place to openly share questions and experiences about your child's skin. When posting, please be mindful of your child's privacy and leave out identifying details.
That's it. Say hello, ask the question you've been sitting on, and welcome to the Circle.
